This baby – Alina – was born a healthy girl. The trouble happened to her already at home, when Alina was barely a month old. Mom just put her daughter to sleep, as Alina stopped breathing and immediately turned pale. The woman called an ambulance, the girl was immediately taken to intensive care. Fortunately, Alina survived...
Later, the doctors determined the cause of the girl's sudden respiratory arrest: it was spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage, purulent meningoencephalitis, and microcephaly. And then they added: hydrocephalus, the consequences of ischemic-hemic lesions of the central nervous system, the delay of all types of development, symptomatic epilepsy and sent to Kharkiv for further examination and surgery.
When the girls' condition was normalized, she and her mother finally returned home and were already ready for a serious struggle with the enemy, who ruined Alina’s health. So began the treatment of Alina.
After many rehabilitation courses, the girl already has a lot of success: her muscle tone has decreased, Alinka started to hold her head better and turn her left and right. The amplitude of her movements also increased, the girl began to pull herself up by her arms, and most importantly – she had support on her legs. Alinka can already sit longer with support, she has become calmer, more contact, she has improved sleep, improved salivation.
It would seem that the results are small, but in fact, it is a very good dynamic! Therefore, the treatment must be continued, but the funds in the girls' native are no longer there. Therefore, we again urge everyone to support this project and raise funds for a new rehabilitation course for Alina at the Priority center in Kiev.
