UPD: After the introduction of the drug to which we collected the funds, the child's condition deteriorated sharply. According to the results of the consultation, Ilia's treatment was suspended, a further prognosis for life was considered unfavorable. Relatives of the child decided to go home. Unfortunately, on March 7, Ilia died. We bring our sincere words of condolence and thank all those who supported the guy! Ilia has a very serious disease: melanoma of the skin. Doctors say that the disease can be cured. Yes, it can be but only on condition of timely and high-quality treatment. In the world, the drug Keytruda is successfully used. Doctors in Ukraine have also started to use it quite successfully. In fact, this is Illia’s only chance for survival. But the price of one vial with a life-saving injection is one hundred and twenty thousand UAH! And for the beginning of treatment two vials are required. This is arithmetic of life.

His mom doesn’t have such an amount of money and it will take her years to collect it. To take care of her son the mother had to quit her job. The father has left the family and doesn’t help them. Their only hope is our help!

Illia came for treatment from Donetsk region. At the local hospital, a birthmark was removed but it started bleeding. Then the histology showed nothing suspicious. But after a couple of weeks, the lymph nodes increased significantly and other birthmarks began to disturb him. Repeated histology revealed melanoma markers. Donetsk doctors advised her mother to take her son to Kyiv because the local specialists did not know what to do. Through the checkpoints, the mother brought her son to Kyiv. At the National Cancer Institute, the diagnosis was confirmed and the treatment was confirmed. Now Illia receives chemotherapy that just slows down the growth of melanoma. And only the drug Keytruda the price of which is sky-high can help.
