Every year in Ukraine 800 CHILDREN die from cardiovascular diseases.
51.67% of infants (ie children during the first 28 days of life) who have a complex form of congenital heart disease die.
Even simple forms of heart disease kill 42.3% of children.  30% of babies are discharged from the hospital without even suspecting a terrible diagnosis.  Half of them die.
A situation in which a child's life is in danger is terrible and painful.  There is no room for a wasted wave or faulty equipment.  Every second is valuable in it.  Every moment can be decisive.
Saving children's lives is often hampered by the usual lack of equipment, its obsolescence and inefficiency.
The Amosov Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery has a resuscitation vehicle.  But it is designed for children weighing up to 5 kilograms.  Although often older children with critical heart defects need the most urgent help.
To do this, we need to complete the existing resuscitation vehicle and pediatric intensive care unit with vital equipment.  The first and most important thing is the breathing apparatus.  It is needed by children who are taken for emergency surgery.  A transport monitor and defibrillator are also required.  They must be transport, and therefore high-precision.  After all, on the way you need to closely monitor the work of the heart and lungs of the child - every detail is important here!
You need to install a mobile echoencephalograph - a device that will be connected to the vessels of the brain or stomach, etc. Given the number of complications caused by heart disease, you must not lose vigilance and it is important to monitor the work of other organs.
A vital pacemaker with a set of electrodes, which is used during cardiac arrest, is also vital.  Without it, a small patient is often doomed…
The pulse oximeter is used to monitor the oxygen saturation of the baby's blood and heart rate.  This device will allow to provide exact indicators even at transportation.
The glucometer allows to control the level of sugar in the child's blood and to prevent the development of comatose states.
And infusomat, which helps to accurately dose the drug to seriously ill, even newborns.  After all, sometimes, the drug must be administered in such dosages that to do it manually with a regular drip is simply impossible, especially for premature babies!
