Darinka dreams of living without fear

7-year-old Darinka from the Cherkasy region was born with a congenital vascular anomaly that poses a daily risk of stroke and paralysis. Doctors at the Institute of Neurosurgery insist: she urgently needs a highly specialized operation. Without timely intervention, the consequences may be irreversible.

Darinka has been diagnosed with a congenital vascular malformation of the brain. This condition is progressing and may lead to a sudden stroke, severe neurological complications, loss of mobility, and long-term rehabilitation. The only way to prevent these risks is timely neurosurgical treatment that can be performed only in a specialized hospital.

The surgery and required consumables are very expensive. For a family with limited income, the cost is overwhelming. Without the support of donors, they will not be able to pay for the treatment in time.

She is a curious little girl who constantly explores the world with endless questions. She loves drawing, creating bright and imaginative pictures. She enjoys riding her bicycle and lovingly taking care of her favorite cat.

All this may be taken away by the illness—unless help comes now.
