Denys, we believe in you!

Denys was born prematurely, at 26 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 900 grams. At the age of one and a half years, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and bilateral sensorineural hearing loss of IV-V degree. At the age of one and seven, Denys underwent cochlear implantation surgery, thanks to which he began to hear and understand the directed speech, and later began to speak. Since the age of 9 months, the boy has been attending physical therapy classes, massages, acupuncture, swimming and equine-assisted therapy. Thanks to this, at the age of 11 months, the baby began to crawl, at 3 years old he began to sit independently, and at 3.5 years old he stood at a support, and at 4.4 years old he walked with a walker.

Now Denys is almost 5 years old. "Currently, our main goal and most cherished dream is to teach Denys to walk independently. So that he can play with children, run with them and live a full life. He dreams so much and wants to run with the kids, play hide and seek... We are going step by step to achieve our dream and believe in our son," says Denys's mother.

In order not to stop the boy's progress, he needs to regularly visit rehabilitation centers. That's why we are starting to raise funds for a new rehabilitation course and believe that it will help Denys acquire new skills.
