Not so long ago, scientists in the world discovered a severe childhood disease, primary immunodeficiency (FID), a hereditary genetic disease with which a person is born. A sick PID child does not have sufficient natural immunity, as a result of which each disease is tolerated by such a child very difficult and for a long time. There are about 700 such children in Ukraine. These children regularly “pick up” bacterial, viral and fungal infections. And if a healthy children's body can resist infections on its own, then children with PIDs need strong antibiotics to suppress infections. If do not take medicine – the infection does not stop and the result will be sad.

But in general, they are completely ordinary and full-fledged children who go to school, play sports and make plans for the future. Only sick much more often and harder than peers. And today we want to talk about such a child and help him get medicines. Julia is twelve years old, she is the second child in the family. Pupil of the 6th grade, excellent student and mother's clever. Together with her parents, she lives in the Chernivtsi region. Julia has a sister, who is 18 years old, she is already working.

Everything would be fine if Julia was not sick so often. Her birth haunted disease. Only up to three years old, the child suffered from pneumonia 4 times, not to mention otitis and frequent bronchitis. And after three years of illness have not left the girl. Yulia was diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency in 2010. One of the manifestations of the underlying disease is a catastrophic decrease in neutrophils and leukocytes, which are responsible for the body’s resistance to infections. In this state, the child requires the administration of Granocyte in 1 bottle (33.6 million IU) three times a week.

Previously, the girl attended a dance club. But because of the frequent diseases, she had to leave the classes. Basically, the girl spends her time at home. Makes up games, seeks out interesting puzzles from the Internet. From the age of 5, Julia dreams of becoming a doctor. Since then, many times her dreams of the profession have changed, but the dream of becoming a doctor outweighs. Yulia's family is an ordinary Ukrainian family. The mother of the girl is trying to cope with the costs associated with the treatment of the younger daughter. However, her capabilities are limited, and effective medications are very valuable. To support Julia in the treatment, we open this fundraising for 4 syringes of the colony-stimulating drug Granocyte (7,608 UAH). Please support this girl!
