Help the homeless animals of Dnipro region!

In September 2023, the project "Helping Homeless Animals of Dnipropetrovsk Region!" was posted on the dobro.ua platform, the purpose of which was to collect funds for the payment of special boxes for animals and veterinary care in the total amount of 300,000 hryvnias for the animal shelter in Kamianske.

Fundraising lasted a year, during which time the project managed to collect 89,183 hryvnias. As of August 2024, the shelter was no longer in need of special boxes and veterinary care, but there was a need to build an outdoor structure for cats, so that the animals could go outside and breathe fresh air, because some of them had not seen the street for years. Therefore, in August 2024, we stopped collecting funds, and the collected amount in the amount of UAH 89,183. were used to pay for the construction. The full cost of the construction is UAH 90,000, the rest of the amount was used by our foundation from its own budget. Construction work lasted from August to September 2024.

This help for the shelter was very important, because the problem of street cats in Dnipropetrovsk region increased during the martial law period. When evacuating, people leave their pets behind, and then pets become strays. In such a situation, animal shelters come to the rescue. For cats who find themselves in a shelter after losing their owners, this is especially important, as the new environment helps reduce stress levels and adapt to life without constant human support.
