Let's help Milana with treatment
Milana has been ill since birth. Immediately after being discharged from the hospital, she began to have problems with her diet. The girl was vomiting, losing weight and crying constantly. At the age of 1.5 months, the girl began to be fully examined, even an ultrasound of the head was done. The doctors kept saying that she had stomach problems, so they began to treat it, but Milana did not get better.
At 6 months old, the girl's head "fell" to the side and hand spasms began - her hands clenched into a fist, although by this time she was able to take the pacifier in her hands on her own. Milana was very weak, could not sit and did not support her legs. Her mother started her daughter's examination at Okhmatdyt again. In a month, Milana was not raised to her feet, although massages and physical therapy were performed. Later, the girl was diagnosed with tetraparesis, epileptic syndrome and organic CNS damage. She was prescribed antiepileptic drugs and hormones. A month later, the seizures disappeared, but the child was weak and had a full-body tremor. She showed no interest in anything.
Only at the age of 2 did Milana start climbing like a scout, and her musculoskeletal development showed progress. At the age of 4, the girl began to walk holding her hand, and at the age of 5 she walked on her own. The girl became a little interested in toys.
Now Milana is 8 years old and has started school. But it is all very difficult for her. She does not speak, although she understands the language, does not serve herself, an assistant or her mother is constantly with her. The girl has impaired coordination of movements, and also a deformed joint, so she needs to do massages and physical therapy as much as possible. It all costs a lot of money, but her mother does everything she can. The girl's father died when Milana was just 1 year old, and the woman was left alone with two children. She manages to earn some money sometimes, but she is physically unable to work full-time because she has to be with her daughter all the time.
Milana needs our help with her treatment.
