Two-year-old Artur needs funds to continue rehabilitation – to consolidate his first achievements and keep developing.
Artur's story began at birth with a cry, after which he stopped breathing. The baby was immediately transferred to intensive care, where he spent 18 days, and then another month in the neonatal rehabilitation ward. He survived. But a long fight lay ahead.
The boy was found to have severe perinatal brain damage, structural epilepsy, and delayed static-kinetic development as a result of hypoxic-ischemic injury to the central nervous system. Artur is now 2 years old, but he cannot yet speak, sit independently, or walk. What other children do without thinking is a daily challenge for him.
Regular rehabilitation courses, physical therapy, and medical support are producing real results. Previous courses have already shown positive progress:
"After completing the most recent rehabilitation course, my son has become more active, has begun to produce more sounds, and his chewing and swallowing have improved. Artur has started showing interest in the outside world and attempting to sit independently. Thank you to everyone who helps. Thanks to you, Artur has been given hope for a full and happy childhood and development," says the boy's mother.
Artur will soon need to attend the rehabilitation center again, and the family simply does not have the funds for this. That is why we are calling on all caring people to join our fundraiser and give this boy the chance to continue his treatment and receive the opportunity for his first independent movement, for a childhood without pain, and for a life with a smile. Please support him together with us!
