Please help to save the life of my father, who dedicated all his life to save people by working in the intensive casualty department of the emergency hospital. In January 2014 doctors found a terrible disease – Burkitt lymphoma. We’ve started medical treatment immediately and have sold out everything, but this is not enough. The first treatment course that is one of four planned has already exceeded 120 000 UAH. Together we can save the life of my father – a doctor, who dedicated all his life saving other people!

Each of our family is a medical worker, the father has worked at the Kirovohrad local emergency hospital since 1974. My father is the II A category liquidator of Chernobyl NPP accident and was a volunteer being first in 1986, a combatant in Czechoslovakia, veteran of labor. All his life my father dedicated to save the lives of thousands people, working day and night at anesthesiology and reanimation department, putting all efforts, knowledge and skills, never sparing himself. Now the time's comes to save his life! This terrible disease has defeated him and the time is now going not for months, but for days.

After we got to know about this virulent disease we immediately began asking for help: first we were examined in Kirovohrad cancer clinic, then we were sent to Kyiv. The local doctors have confirmed the former diagnosis and we’ve started another treatment course. Subject to up-to-date treatment methods the 10-20 years remissions are attained by more than 90% of patients on I-III stages of disease that is equal to full recovery. Thus, the treatment forecast is favorable!

Being the son of Dmytro Volodymyrovych, I am asking for your help in search of any options to raise funds needed for treatment. I work as a volunteer of public organization MotoHelp, the main task of it is to rescue and help bicyclers, as well as drivers of motorbikes, and scooters injured by traffic accidents. I have also asked them for help by placing ads on the MotoHelp web-site, as well as by distributing them among my friends and other people in the social networks. Of course, we received some help, though it is not significant, as we need to find money for 3 more treatment courses.

That is why I am appealing to you for help hoping that someone will response and my father will be saved in such way as he did it for others all his life!
