A decent life for the elderly

Old age awaits each of us in the future, and we want to live it in comfort and peace. It's good when there are children and grandchildren nearby who can look after the elderly. But there are quite a few lonely elderly people. They have no children, and then no grandchildren. How can they live and cope with their weakness? It's the same story for people with disabilities who are bedridden. Their meager pension is not enough for anything ...

The conditions in which elderly people live have nothing to do with an understanding of human dignity: metal chipped dishes, beds the same age as Stalin, bedding and underwear from the test drive of the first Moskvich, a constant lack of funds for the most necessary things. For vulnerable groups of the population - the elderly, persons with disabilities who are bedridden, the issue of purchasing essential goods - bed linen, towels, remains relevant today.

For more than 19 years, СО "СF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" has not left elderly people alone with their grief and problems. Caritas employees are trying to provide the highest quality comprehensive assistance, taking into account not only physical, but also spiritual and psychological problems of a person.

Today 20 people need essential goods. In total, we need to collect UAH 14,685. Unfortunately, we are unable to purchase goods in the required quantity. Therefore, we ask each of you to take part in the charitable initiative and help the elderly to live their lives with dignity. Don't put off taking care of your grandparents – their quality of life directly depends on it.
