The boy has been treated all his life

Eight-year-old Rostyslav started to get sick almost from the moment he was born. He had his first seizures at the age of three months. Since then, Rostyslav's life has been a continuous cycle of treatment, hospital stays and consultations with doctors. The boy was registered with a neurologist. He and his mother began traveling around the country in search of the right diagnosis and the right medication.

Unfortunately, for a long time, doctors could not diagnose Rostyk. A large number of tests and MRI scans were performed. Eventually, doctors made a disappointing diagnosis – severe epilepsy and cerebral palsy.

The boy's treatment has been ongoing throughout his life. Currently, the child cannot take care of himself and is completely dependent on outside help. The boy has epileptic seizures several times a day.

The situation is complicated by the fact that Rostyslav needs treatment with expensive medications. Not all of his medications are provided free of charge by the state. A large part of the family budget is spent on medicines to block the boy's seizures. Philanthropists provide significant assistance, thanks to which Rostyslav is being treated. But the medicines provided are running out, and the boy needs help again.
