Disease tries to take away a child's health

      A year ago, Tymofiy loved running around outside with his friends, riding his bike, and practising martial arts. Now, every walk is a challenge for him: the boy is developing foot deformities. To prevent progressive neural amyotrophy, he has been prescribed genetic testing.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 318 dated 4 June 2025, the project ‘Illness is trying to take away a child's health’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Tymofii Fysun.
      On 25 June 2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange who closed Tymofii's fundraiser, we received UAH 43,680.00 (forty-three thousand six hundred and eighty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's current account to pay for the child's treatment and project administration.
      In July of this year, we paid for Timofey's genetic testing at a total cost of 41,600.00 UAH (forty-one thousand six hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks). We also paid for the administration of the project.
      The results of molecular genetic sequencing will take 60 working days. After that, a consultation with a neurologist and surgeon is scheduled to adjust further treatment. 
      The condition of his legs remains unchanged, and further rehabilitation is planned only in October.
      Timofiy is spending the summer with friends, spending a lot of time outdoors, and he loves fishing and playing the guitar. He is also inspired by family outings to the countryside. 
      His mother is sincerely grateful to all the caring people for supporting her son. 
      Currently, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.
