Zlata is a kind and very strong girl. She should be living out a carefree childhood, dreaming, laughing, and finding joy in every day. But for 6 years now, her life has been a constant battle with type 1 diabetes.
Every day for her means countless finger pricks, continuous blood sugar monitoring, fear of sudden drops or spikes in glucose, and anxious sleepless nights for the whole family. The family lives from one reading to the next, from one alert to the next. Continuous monitoring sensors are not simply a convenience. For Zlata they are the chance to live without constant pain, without dozens of daily pricks, to sleep more peacefully and stay safe. For her parents they are the chance to catch dangerous changes in blood sugar in time and protect their daughter from the serious consequences of diabetes.
Unfortunately, the cost of sensors is very high for the family, and without them managing the disease becomes even harder.
Please help Zlata have a more peaceful childhood. Even a small contribution will be a big step toward completing the fundraiser and a safer life for this girl.
