Purpose: to collect 1,100,436 UAH for the purchase of medical equipment for premature babies in 9 hospitals: Maternity Hospital №5 of Odessa City Council, National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt", Irshava District Hospital, Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital, Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital, Chernivtsi Regional Children's Hospital, Khmelnytsky City Children's Hospital, Ternopil Regional Children's Hospital and City Children's Hospital №5 Zaporizhia City Council. We plan to buy: 1 pulse oximeter and sensors for it, 4 infusometers, 1 audiometer, 1 ophthalmoscope, 1 resuscitation system, 1 phototherapy lamp.

All this equipment is extremely necessary for premature babies. A pulse oximeter is needed to adjust the percentage of oxygen in the blood of newborns, as they often have respiratory arrest. Infusomat is a system through which doctors can painlessly administer all necessary drugs to babies. Bilirubinometer is needed for percutaneous measurement of bilirubin levels in newborns, it is a painless alternative to traditional and so stressful for babies and parents blood tests. The audiometer detects hearing loss in infants. An ophthalmoscope is needed to detect pathologies of vision. Resuscitation systems reduce the risk of hypoxia in children. The phototherapy lamp reduces the level of bilirubin in the blood and protects the newborn's body from its toxic effects.
