I dream of a healthy childhood

Tiny Nikita was born at 31 weeks of pregnancy weighing just 1,540 grams. The baby was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit, where he stayed for 3 months. During his stay in the intensive care unit, the boy suffered a brain hemorrhage and hypoxia. Subsequently, Nikita was transferred to the premature baby unit, where he gained weight and was discharged home.

Every month the boy had to visit the hospital and be examined by different specialists. During one of these visits, the boy was sent to OKHMATDYT, where Nikita was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. Fortunately, there was no need to install a shunt: the doctors recommended taking medication and undergoing rehabilitation. The boy began treatment, and during the rehabilitation Nikita learned to sit and walk in a walker, and to keep his balance. Now Nikita is 6 years old, but his speech is poorly developed and his left hand works poorly. The boy's treatment needs to be continued, and the family has no money for it.
