Mykhailo, born with a heart. 2

Mykhailo is a 2-year-old boy who was born prematurely and survived a brain hemorrhage. No one knew if he would survive. Unfortunately, his biological parents abandoned him before they could even name him. Nevertheless, the boy was taken to OKHMATDYT, where he was operated on, a shunt was installed, and treatment began.

Тhe boy began to recover. Mykhailo was examined, underwent tests that showed that hydrocephalus had significantly damaged his brain and reduced the volume of brain matter, and began treatment. Today, the boy understands spoken language and keeps his balance much better, he already has a good "babble" and wants to play with toys on his own or with adults. 

However, it is too early to stop there, the rehabilitation needs to be continued and further developed. So we are launching a new fundraiser to pay for another course of rehabilitation for Mykhailo.
