Artur was diagnosed three months ago. The boy was admitted to the intensive care unit with extremely high blood sugar. Doctors immediately prescribed insulin injections. Naturally, the doctors' verdict came as a real shock to the family. The baby's mother still cannot get used to the new realities of life. It's all new and incomprehensible to her. Artur still cannot understand why he is not allowed to do many things. The woman does not work, she is constantly engaged with her son. Artur is not accepted to any kindergarten because they are afraid of the responsibility for a sick child.
At first, they pricked Artur's fingers and checked his sugar level. This could be repeated up to 10-12 times a day, because the sugar was constantly jumping, and it needed to be controlled. Then the parents learned about the possibility of using monitoring sensors. Using the sensors significantly improved the boy's life, but the cost of purchasing them became too much for the family's modest budget.
In addition to Artur, the mother has a ten-year-old boy. His older brother is already a Ukrainian billiards champion. The child gives all his winnings to his younger brother for the needs of treatment, so that he can recover. He and his mother hope that Artur will be helped with the acquisition of sensors, and his life will not be so difficult.
