From early childhood, Vova was active and inquisitive. The boy played a lot and constantly discovered something new for himself. But almost a year ago, Vova was suddenly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He was immediately taken to intensive care, where he spent a week, after which he was transferred to the hospital.
Now the boy attends kindergarten, but only until lunchtime - under the supervision of his mother, who monitors his sugar level. Vova already has his own interests. Most of all, he likes to disassemble broken equipment and study how it works. He has friends, communicates well with his peers.
His parents do everything possible to keep his sugar under control. They constantly monitor and check his glucose level, because the boy's well-being is unstable: there are both hypo- and hyperglycemia. Vova receives insulin therapy and follows a diet. Every three months he undergoes an examination in the hospital.
Vova's family was forced to leave their home in the Kharkiv region and moved to the Odessa region. Along with the house, the parents lost their own business. Dad recently retired from military service and is trying to find a job in a new place. Mom takes full care of her son. Currently, the family is having difficulty providing the child with the necessary sensors, so mom is asking for support for little Vova.
