“About two years ago, I was surprised to learn that there are databases of questionnaires for orphans in Ukraine, I found them and began to actively browse. We found our daughter on the site "Zmini odne zhittya". This site contains not just photos of children, but there are also video questionnaires in it. And this is a big plus, because even the most successful photo loses its attractiveness when you hear a child's diagnosis, which is difficult to understand if you are incompetent in the field of medicine. It helped us a lot. We looked at the video of the child, how she played, tried to fold the pyramid, hid her eyes from the camera, and the diagnoses that we heard on the phone no longer cut our ears or frightened us. We saw what kind of child, how he reacted, how he moved, how he looked. In addition, I was personally very encouraged by the words of the girl who voiced the video questionnaire: " Even an adult will envy the persistence of this Baby...". These words sounded in my head both in moments of fear, and in moments of joy, and after making the decision to adopt Antonina, I remembered them.

Of course, you need to be prepared that the video slightly enlarges the child, for me it was a surprise - in fact, the child is smaller and thinner :), but these are technical issues ... "

For more than 7 years, the Change One Life Foundation has been filming videotapes for boys and girls in orphanages. Each questionnaire is a short film about a child, a little story that can open the door to his inner world and make him noticeable among dry lists and a heap of personal affairs.

926 children from among those for whom the videos were filmed were found by families. Now Antonina and all these children are loved, there are people in their lives with whom they are no longer lonely or scared.

We're raising money to shoot 30 video questionnaires for children who are expecting their parents right now.
