The project "Give mom a smile. 2" began on June 25, 2021. The goal of the project is to raise funds to pay for rehabilitation courses at Bobat Center LLC, Kyiv, for Chetvertak Victoria.
During difficult childbirth, Vika's brain suffered oxygen starvation. This became the reason for a series of diagnoses: epileptic encephalopathy in the form of West syndrome, spastic tetraparesis. For several years, epileptic attacks did not allow him to engage in physical rehabilitation. In the end, a drug was selected, and the disease went into remission. The family started actively rehabilitating the girl.
Rehabilitation at "Bobat Center" LLC is a perfect fit for Vicki. In 2020, we already collected funds for rehabilitation in this very center. Then the girl completed three courses and had good results. This year, parents asked for help again. We opened a collection in the amount of UAH 50,198.00.
On 08/19/2021, in accordance with letter No. 69 dated 08/16/2021, our fund received funds in the amount of UAH 8,000.00 from the "UBB" Bank of Ukraine. for the treatment of a girl. The course lasted from August 13 to 27, 2021.
The treatment course was successful. Vika trusted the specialists of the center and worked well. She completed a course of physical therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration and classes with a speech therapist. Also, with a little support, the girl was able to sit for almost five minutes!
On January 11, 2022, our fund BF "Happy Child" received the remaining amount - UAH 42,198.00 from BO MBF "UBB".
Due to Russia's military aggression on the territory of Ukraine, Vika's family had to leave for Poland. For a long time, the family hoped to return to Ukraine and continue rehabilitation courses. However, due to objective reasons, it is currently not possible to use the collected funds in Ukraine.
In this regard, the report is submitted with a delay. Also, we ask you to dispose of unused funds, namely, 42,198 (forty-two thousand one hundred and ninety-eight) hryvnias, 00 kopecks, in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures of the Board of Directors of the MBF "UBB".
