Extend life and relieve pain

      On 13 August 2023, Mirra was admitted to the intensive care unit in Pervomaisk with critically high glucose levels of 24 mmol/L. Three weeks earlier, her mother noticed that her daughter had lost a lot of weight and had become thirsty and irritable. The use of sensors and a pump helps to avoid serious complications and significantly reduces the amount of pain the child experiences from injections.
   In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 316 dated 27 May 2025, the project ‘Extend Life and Relieve Pain’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting donations to pay for the treatment of Mirroslava Malyarchuk.
   On 14 July 2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange who closed Mirroslava's fundraiser, we received UAH 105,000.00 (one hundred and five thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's current account to pay for the child's treatment and project administration. 
   In August of this year, we purchased Freestyle Libre 2 sensors for the girl in the amount of 55,200.00 UAH (fifty-five thousand two hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in December, we provided the girl with consumables worth 44,800.00 UAH (forty-four thousand eight hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and paid for the administration of the project.
   Mirroslavochka is currently feeling stable, and thanks to timely assistance, she has managed to get her sugar levels under control. She is patiently waiting and trying to adapt to the conditions in the country: spending time without electricity and feeling a little cold. School holidays have been extended, so she is temporarily not attending music school or dance classes. Now the girl takes care of animals on the street, and now also birds. Sometimes she plays with her friend at home or visits her, reads books and eagerly awaits spring and warmth. And she also got a little kitten! Now they have real fun races together.
   At present, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.
