Milana needs rehabilitation after surgery! This little girl has gone through so many trials and suffered so much pain... But now she has a chance for a better future!

The Pokrovsky family has two daughters. Milana is the youngest, and she has been fighting for her life since birth. She was born prematurely at 30 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 1 kg 490 grams. The doctors did not give any prognosis, the baby survived 4 blood transfusions and was under a ventilator for a long time.

Unfortunately, when the girl turned a year old, doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy. At the age of 1.5, she was again admitted to the intensive care unit, and then to the neurological department of the Kyiv IPAG, where she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Because of this, Milana could not undergo rehabilitation for a long time – and only in 2023 did she begin treatment. Despite all the difficulties, Milana learned to crawl and say her first words. Each new course of treatment gave her a chance to get closer to a full life.

But recently, the girl had to undergo an urgent surgery – Milana underwent a myotomy (cutting) of the adductor muscles of the thigh and achiloplasty. Now she desperately needs qualified rehabilitation, because without it, it is dangerous for the girl to move – and this can negate all previous treatment.
