Let’s get Artem back on his feet

Artem’s life turned upside down in a split second. After a hard working day the guy just wanted to come home and to fall into his bed. But he woke up at the hospital. He was surrounded by the doctors, some equipment squealed, he felt some pricking, there was fussing around him, he had an awful headache, his fingers were numb and his legs were like stone. At the bus stop Artem was hit by the car. To survive the boy needs 80 thousand UAH.

“Who is right? Who is to blame? Why did it happen?” All these questions are for later. Now Artem needs help. During his first days in the intensive care ward the doctors were fighting for the guy’s life round-the-clock. They coped… Later he was transferred to the hospital in Kyiv. There the doctors managed to partially reconstruct his legs. But it was just the first surgery and as the doctors predicted he should have at least five more. But the doctors’ words are encouraging: “The guy is young and handsome, he WILL RUN…”

The parents are in despair. All their savings were used for the intensive care and for the first surgery. Now they have to purchase special plates, screws and medicines for Artem’s further treatment but they cannot do it…
