A chance for childhood

Sasha was only nine when she was diagnosed with diabetes. She has been battling the disease for a year now, and during that time she has grown up immensely. This is not surprising: the girl had to learn to count carbohydrates in order to select the correct dose, inject everything correctly, and put up with painful sugar measurements 10-15 times a day. Every meal is accompanied by a prick – it is necessary to know the sugar level in order to administer the correct dose of insulin. Because of this necessary but painful procedure, Sasha often refuses to eat at all – her fingers hurt too much.
This is where continuous glucose monitoring sensors come in handy. These devices allow you to monitor your glucose levels without any interruptions or wounds – thanks to them, you can prevent critical conditions and free yourself from the shackles of anxiety every time you leave the house. However, there is one problem – the price of the sensors. These life-saving devices are very, very expensive, especially for Sasha's family. Only her father works, and all their money goes towards living expenses. Her mother is constantly with her daughter: she has been unable to go to work since Sasha started having seizures from high blood sugar, as the girl needs round-the-clock care and attention.
Sasha loves to dance, knit, make flowers, and draw. She also dreams of learning to play the guitar, but even that will remain unattainable as long as her fingers are scarred. Give Sasha a chance for a carefree childhood and the fulfillment of her dreams!
