Angelina is one of the twins of the Onopienko family. At the age of 2.5 years, at this baby began to show health problems. Since then, the mother with Angelina almost live in hospitals. Examinations, tests, trips for consultations to specialists... But doctors could not establish an accurate diagnosis for a child for a long time.

Only a trip to the immunological center in Kiev clarified the situation. After a series of surveys and tests abroad, at the girl was found primary immunodeficiency. This is a genetically determined disease of the immune system that deprives the body of natural defenses. Thanks to the support of caring people during the first stage of the gathering, Angelina received the drug Bioven-mono necessary for treatment, for which the parents of the girl are sincerely grateful to UBB donors.

Thanks to the transferred medication, Angelina started treatment. Her mother notes that the child has changed! Angelina became active, she moves a lot: she runs, jumps, jumps, as she wants to catch up with what she was forced to have, while in the hospital! Designers and coloring now put aside! Angelina wants to do gymnastics - it something that a few months ago the mother could not even think about. And also swimming and dancing. There are so many interesting and exciting things around!

However, once a month, the mother brings her daughter to the Kiev City Children's Immunology Clinical Center for examination and monitoring. Doctor's recommendation: to continue the introduction of the drug bioven-mono. In the course of treatment it need 5 vials of the drug "Bioven-mono" for total amount 14 081,25 UAH. This is big and very heavy money for Angelina's parents. To the last they independently coped with the expenses connected with the treatment of their daughter.

The father works two jobs to provide his family with the most necessary. However, the funds that the father earns are not enough for everything. In the family, besides Angelina, there are two more kids - the 12-year-old daughter Valeria and twin sister Melania are growing up. And the mother is with Angelina all the time, because due to constant illnesses the daughter often goes to hospitals and cannot attend kindergarten.
