Vanya is fighting for his health!

The shocking diagnosis of cerebral palsy becomes an obstacle for Ivan's physical development, but, fortunately, not for mental. The boy is desperately fighting for his healthy life, for which he has great chances, and requires a course of rehabilitation.

From birth, Ivan was considered as a healthy child. He began to hold his head on time, roll over, hold toys, confidently stood on his feet, and moved around the apartment in a walker. The family found out the diagnosis of cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis when Ivan was 9 months old, when it was time for him to sit down, but this did not happen.

Fortunately, despite his desease, Ivan's intellect is fully preserved and he develops according to his age. The boy began to crawl on his belly, he gets on all fours, moves, but it is still difficult (learns), climbs off the couch, stands at the support, sits down as a bunny. Ivan himself still has not sat down, but if somebody helps him to sit, then he will be able to sit in Turkish for a long time, he also began to sit with outstretched legs. A boy can sit on a chair (maintain balance), but there is no balance while standing. With elbow support, he can walk too.

A big hindrance to the boy's physical development was the skewed pelvis and shortening of the right leg due to increased tone on the right, which led to subluxation of the right hip joint and dysplasia of the left hip joint. Dysplasia has already been defeated. Despite the terrible diagnosis, Ivan has great chances for an independent and healthy life. Ivan is an active and developed child. He is very fond of music, drawing, singing, building pyramids out of various toys, he has a good command of a tablet, which he uses to watch cartoons.

"My son has a great chance to live a healthy life. When the first rehabilitation began, he could not do anything on his own, and now he has a good command of a cup, a spoon, a pen. With each course of rehabilitation, he has new opportunities that he uses. Each rehabilitation is a step that brings us closer to our goal and dream - for Ivan to become independent and self-confident", says Ivan's mother.

To make this family's dream come true, constant rehabilitation courses and work from home are needed. As the boy needs constant care, only the father works in the family. Family’s resources are exhausted and parents are forced to seek help.

Ivan really needs rehabilitation courses that can give him the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
