To live without pain is the natural desire for all of us. A child who faces a serious disease doesn’t want to suffer from pain too. Every day children affected by cancer undergo a lot of medical procedures: drips, blood sampling, injections...

And port-a-caths can make their life much easier but they are not available at the hospital.
A port-a-cath is a special catheter that allows painless administration of medicines and parenteral feeding as well as closed blood sampling. In simple words thanks to this port a child does not suffer because blood vessels are burnt by chemotherapy.

A child does not feel excruciating pain from constant punctures in the skin and in general can lead quite an active life even during such a complicated treatment.

Every child has the right to fight for his or her live with dignity. Every child has the right for a painless treatment. We can help!
