Little Stanislav is a very active and cheerful child. Almost a year has passed since a serious illness disrupted his carefree childhood, leaving his parents unable to relax for a moment: constant monitoring of sugar levels and counting carbohydrates to avoid spikes and further health complications have become a fact of life for the family.

Despite this terrible disease, Stanislav's family tries to make his childhood happy. The boy loves active recreation and animals, and has four dogs and two cats. He loves doing puzzles, drawing, and riding his bike. This year, he even started attending kindergarten for a few hours a day so he could play with other children and take part in interesting activities. While Stanislav is at kindergarten, his mother waits outside the door and monitors his blood sugar levels using a sensor.

Unfortunately, the sensors have run out, and his mother is once again forced to constantly prick his little fingers. The family cannot afford to buy sensors, as the woman is constantly with her son and the father is disabled.
