Cook, little pot, cook! 2

Since its foundation in 2007, the regional Zaporizhia fund "Happy Child" has not stopped its work for a single day. Moreover, over the years, our activities increasingly began to cover other regions. We are always happy to help as many children as possible. And with the beginning of Russian aggression in Ukraine, the foundation had to take up a new direction in its work - providing assistance to internally displaced persons.

Zaporizhia has become the first safe place on the way of people who are fleeing the war from the south of our country. Anyone who needs shelter is placed in shelters. Since the first month of a full-scale war, we have been helping one of these shelters, whose headquarters is located in school No. 65. People are placed in three kindergartens and a dormitory of the school, fed and provided with basic necessities. Here, families rest, and then move on to safer places in Ukraine and the world. Or they stay in Zaporizhia and start a new life.

From March of this year to this day, 4,600 people have lived in the shelter. Now arrivals to the shelter are held 1-2 times a week, at one time the shelter can take from one hundred to two hundred people. And today, in order to continue supporting refugee reception centers, our foundation is asking for help to purchase food. First of all, chickens. Indeed, for recuperation and good nutrition, meat is an indispensable product. Thanks to this project, we will buy 966 kg of chicken, enough for one or two months.
