A ray of hope for the needy people

"Look, our dopomagayka is coming!", the children from our foster families greeted the car so violently, only when they saw it on the horizon. After all, the children knew that this car was definitely carrying help. And the old people call her beautifully: "Our "Hope" is coming". For 12 years, the GAZ2506 car has been a constant support in the daily affairs of our organization. For children, the elderly, people with disabilities in the Khmelnytsky region, it has become a symbol of support, and for the employees of the organization – a reliable transport that will take them to the most remote corners. In total, over the years, the car drove 705,000 km – and everywhere it was greeted with joy and hope. But everything does not last forever, and today "our dopomagayka" needs to be replaced, because it is completely worn out and out of order.

Our dear benefactors, we turn to you once, we sincerely count on your support not only from us, but also from our wards. After all, today the delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need is one of the priority tasks of the organization. For our wards, this is really a hope: for some it is the hope for a dignified old age, for others – for a carefree childhood full of joy. Let's help together our wards not to lose this ray of hope!

Since the beginning of quarantine, many families have faced a new difficult reality - someone lost their job, someone was sent on vacation without pay, and the elderly, persons with disabilities, and even more so, even before quarantine, survived on a meager pension, today turned out to be extremely difficult situation. These are the people who, unfortunately, have nowhere to wait for help. Not even all of them manage to overcome the depressed emotional state and depression. The danger of being infected with the COVID-19 virus also makes them hostage to their own homes. The issue of purchasing and delivering food products, hygiene products, household chemicals, medicines, clothing, bed linen and the like remains relevant today.

СO "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" daily rushes to help such families and, thanks to our reliable assistant – the car GAZ2506 – we managed to deliver hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid (food kits, household chemicals and personal hygiene products, medicines, etc.) for families with children, the elderly, people with disabilities. Thanks to the car, we helped hundreds of children and parents to get to our Social Center for training and consultations with specialists, for receiving psychological support or legal advice.

Today the car needs to be replaced, because its resource is exhausted. Therefore, dear benefactors, we turn to you with the hope of support and assistance in purchasing a motor vehicle for the needs of the residents of the Khmelnytsky OTG, wards of the СO "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC".

In general, we need to collect 438 600 UAH, however, part of the funds have already managed to attract, so we collect 418 600 UAH on dobro.ua. Hundreds of families in crisis, the elderly and people with disabilities, hope for your help. We need your support!
