Hospitals are happier with graffiti!

The goal is to turn dull and grey blocks of two hospitals in Zaporozhye into masterpieces! Gifted artists will make dull concrete buildings bright and colorful. Boring walls will be turned into bright and fascinating pictures book. Psychologists assure that everything that surrounds kids in the hospital is also affecting their recovery. And for that reason we should find a way to raise funds to achieve the goal at the soonest possible – 6000 hrn to buy paint.

Interior and exterior of hospitals is rarely taking into consideration interests and particular qualities of little patients and their special perception of the environment. Parents have to be creative to cheer up their kids, to take attention away from the pain, bitter medicine and fear of treatment. Emotional condition of little patients is an important part of any therapy. Nowadays this part fell out of attention scope of the doctors.

That is why our fund is planning to turn dull blocks in the hospital yards (Zaporozhye Regional Children Hospital and Children Hospital No 5) into bright and fascinating artistic creations.

It going to be not just graffiti! We will involve professional street artists, with a talent to combine interesting ideas with graphics. This will make pictures interesting for the kids of any age. We want to use partially cartoon techniques Instead of traditional graffiti.

Besides positive psychological effect, that will replace dull deaf wals, we are intending to create different attitude towards exterior not only of the hospitals, schools and kindergartens, but also other city spaces. That is why, upon completion of the project, we count on invitations from other similar establishments to spread the positive experience.
