In one of my songs, there are Chaplin’s words to his daughter: "Do not forget that the third franc is not yours." I always try to remember about it. At one time the music I breathe could be an unrealized dream because I was losing my hearing. And only the timely doctors’ assistance made life go in the way I was hoping for.

This marathon is more than just a distance, this is my way of drawing attention to Vadym Golovko, a 14-year-old boy who can lose his leg. Will he be able to go on a path he dreams of depends on each of us, on whether we can give our third franc?

Zaporuka is a Foundation I know very well. We have been trying together for many years to save the seriously ill children they take care of. I know that "cancer is not a death sentence", I saw children coming from all over Ukraine to the "Winners’ Camp". There are a lot of them, and each of them has defeated cancer, and each of them has his or her own success story because they had people who were there for them and gave them a helping hand!
